Let the pain float away on the evening wind that calms the heat of the day
Relieving me of the stress and sprains I sustained throughout this hectic day
Washing me of the sweaty mess I gained working hard under the smelting sunlight rays
Remaking my body into a suitable place upon the bed I will lay.
As I feel the winding breeze of the night devour the unholy heat around my skin
My joys know no bounds and skyrocket into the darkening sky reaching past the floating clouds into the glowing stars
Because I can finally lay my heady on a silky pillow and slip carefree into happy dreams
Knowing that my rest is assured and insured on the anchor of a peaceful sleep.
